Jayden Reed entered Sunday morning questionable for the Green Bay Packers’ Week 16 matchup against the Carolina Panthers.

But unfortunately for Green Bay, the former Spartan is set to be inactive while dealing with toe and chest injuries. He’s played in each of the Packers’ recent games, but as the injuries and missed practices mount the Packers decided to give him rest.

Reed has had an excellent rookie season for the Packers as a top target for QB Jordan Love. He’s sitting at 54 receptions for 592 yards and 6 touchdowns through 14 games.

Green Bay is currently in the middle of the playoff race, sitting just 1 spot out of the field at 6-8. With several teams sitting in front of Green Bay, the Packers would need some help to crack the 7-seed. The Packers face off against Carolina, Chicago and Minnesota to end the regular season.
