Jayden Reed will leave Michigan State and enter the 2023 NFL Draft, the wide receiver announced on Instagram on Sunday.

Reed played at Michigan State for three seasons after transferring from Western Michigan. During his time with the Spartans, he racked up 2,069 yards and 18 touchdowns. He helped lead Michigan State to an 11-2 record last season, but ultimately ended his collegiate career on a dull note as the Spartans finished the season 5-7.

In his address to fans, Reed thanks Spartan Nation for their constant support and expressed how much Michigan State helped him grow.

“It has been a long journey that is just starting,” Reed said in the Instagram post. “Thank you Spartan Nation for the countless memories here at Michigan State, I will forever bleed green! With that being said, I am extremely blessed to announce that I will be entering the 2023 draft to accomplish life long goals.”
