Kay'Ron Lynch-Adams gives Michigan State commanding lead with 63-yard TD run
Welcome to East Lansing, Kay’Ron Lynch-Adams.
Lynch-Adams was one of Michigan State’s top transfer portal additions this offseason and he showed up in a big way early on in Michigan State’s season-opener against Florida Atlantic.
On the first play of the drive while Michigan State was nursing a 9-0 lead, Lynch Adams took the ball 63 yards to the house:

That play gave Michigan State a 16-0 lead midway through the 2nd quarter.
It’s been an impressive debut for Lynch-Adams, who appeared to score a very physical TD run on a previous drive but had it wiped away due to a penalty. Lynch-Adams is a college football veteran who is in his 6th season of college football. Last year at UMass, he broke out for 1,157 yards and 12 touchdowns.
Nate Carter received most of the carries for Michigan State in the first half, but wasn’t quite as productive. He totaled 29 yards on his 11 rushing attempts before halftime.
Michigan State was a consensus 13-point favorite over the Owls in this contest before the game began.
