Kenneth Walker III gets status update before season opener vs. Denver Broncos
Kenneth Walker III will have to wait a little to make his regular-season debut. Ari Meirov of PFF posted about his status before the game against the Denver Broncos.
Walker is listed as inactive against the Broncos, and has been dealing with a hernia injury as of late. The Seattle Seahawks selected Walker with 41st pick in the 2nd Round of this year’s NFL Draft.

Rashad Penny will most likely be taking the majority of snaps at running back until Walker gets back from injury. Walker led Michigan State in rushing yards (1,636) in his final season in East Lansing, and had 18 touchdowns on the ground.
It will be a new era in Seattle, with Russell Wilson suiting up against his former team. Pete Carroll will be starting Geno Smith at quarterback for Wilson’s return. It will definitely be a game worth watching.
Seattle and Denver kick off at 8:15 p.m. ET on ABC/ESPN.
