Kenneth Walker III is in his second season for the Seattle Seahawks, and he is quickly developing into one of the top young running backs in the league.

During a Week 3 win over the Carolina Panthers, Walker delivered 97 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns on 18 carries. He also delivered 59 receiving yards as a versatile contributor.

Both of Walker’s touchdowns came in the second half after Carolina held a 13-12 lead at halftime. The first came in the third quarter while his second touchdown came in the fourth quarter and gave Seattle a 29-20 lead. The Seahawks would later boost the lead to 37-20 before cruising to the finish line.

For his efforts, Walker received the NFC Offensive Player of the Week Award. It’s his first of the season with the Seahawks improving to 2-1.

Walker had a strong rookie season with over 1,200 yards of offense and 9 touchdowns for Seattle. He’s off to a strong start and looking for more to open 2023.
