Kenneth Walker III receives high praise from Pete Carroll for camp performance
Pete Carroll loves what he’s seeing from Kenneth Walker III.
The Seattle Seahawks coach gushed about Walker’s camp performance. Carroll called Walker a well-rounded back on track to be a 3-down contributor for the Seahawks, a timely detail considering veteran Rashaad Penny’s injury. Carroll pointed to pass-protection as a knock on Walker as a college running back, but says the former Michigan State standout has turned the page with that issue.
Brady Henderson of ESPN’s NFL Nation shared Carroll’s comments on Walker:
Pete Carroll describing Ken Walker III as a three-down back on the same day that Rashaad Penny is sidelined again, this time with groin tightness.
Another indication/reminder that Walker is going to play a ton this season. https://t.co/JI9LbhwG2c
