Michigan State running back Kenneth Walker III continues to put his stamp on the Spartans’ 2021 season.

Walker has been one of the best running backs in the country this season, but he made an impact through the air on Saturday vs. Miami. He caught a touchdown pass with under three minutes to go to give Michigan State the halftime lead:

He finished the half with 12 carries for 86 yards. He also caught 2 passes for 11 yards and that touchdown.

Michigan State has been able to move the ball offensively and has kept the Hurricanes in check. Spartans quarterback Payton Thorne completed 9-of-17 passes for 141 yards and 1 touchdown in the first half.

Michigan State allowed D’Eriq King to throw for 236 yards in the first half, but also forced him into an interception. Receiver Charleston Rambo has been Miami’s primary source of offense, as he has 10 catches for 117 yards at the break.

Miami is 4-0 all-time vs. Michigan State entering this game.
