Kenneth Walker III continues to be a force in his rookie season as his multiple touchdown performance led the Seattle Seahawks to a 31-21 road win over an NFC West rival in the Arizona Cardinals.

Walker’s 5-yard touchdown with 2:14 minutes left in the game essentially put the game away to put Seattle up by 10 in Week 9.

Walker finished the game rushing for 109 yards and 2 touchdowns on 26 carries. He also caught 3 receptions for 20 yards.

Since Walker took over as the starting running back for the injured Rashaad Penny, Walker has been one of the best offensive weapons for the Seahawks. In 4 starts this season, Walker has rushed for 424 yards and 6 touchdowns on 88 carries.

Before the Week 9 game versus Arizona, Walker was named the NFL’s Offensive Rookie of the Year of October.

After a tremendous 2021 season in his only year for Michigan State, the Doak Walker Award winner was selected by Seattle in the second round (41st overall pick) of the 2022 NFL Draft.
