Kenneth Walker III update: Pete Carroll shares latest on former Michigan State RB for Week 2

Kenneth Walker III’s NFL debut looks to be coming soon.
The former Michigan State standout dealt with a hernia issue in recent weeks. After having a procedure, Walker was sidelined during the end of Seattle Seahawks’ preseason action and inactive for Monday night’s Week 1 contest against the Denver Broncos.
On Tuesday, Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said that Walker will be returning this week.

The Seahawks travel to San Francisco in Week 2 to face the 49ers. In Walker’s absence, Rashaad Penny recorded 12 carries for 60 yards.
Walker had a sensational season for Michigan State in 2021, rushing 263 times for 1,636 yards and 18 touchdowns. He was named a Unanimous All-American, winning the Doak Walker Award and Walter Camp Award. The Seahawks took Walker with the No. 41 overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft.
