Kenneth Walker's status 'uncertain' for Peach Bowl vs. Pittsburgh
Kenneth Walker III and Michigan State’s next test will be a bowl game against No. 12 Pittsburgh on Dec. 30.
However, the Spartans could be without their lead back, according to Chris Solari of the Detroit Free Press.
Speaking with reporters Monday at a press conference for the Peach Bowl, MSU head coach Mel Tucker stated that he’s ‘uncertain’ on whether Walker will be playing in the game, and that he isn’t the only one on the team dealing with injuries.
Tucker says he is “uncertain” whether Kenneth Walker III will play because “he’s been battling through some things. He’s not the only one.”

Walker has been dealing with an ankle injury since the Ohio State game in Week 12. It is also possible that Walker could just decide to skip the bowl game and prepare for the 2022 NFL Draft as well, though Tucker was asked about that possibility and said he hadn’t heard of any “healthy” players who planned to skip the game.
Asked if Kenneth Walker III still plans to play, Tucker says he has not "heard anything from the healthy guys" that they plan to sit out the Peach Bowl.
