Kirk Cousins wasn’t part of the NFL’s Top 100 Players list in 2021, but in 2022, the Minnesota Vikings quarterback and former Michigan State standout found himself back in the annual rankings.

The NFL is rolling out its yearly list as voted on by the league’s players, and Cousins snuck on to 2022’s list, coming in 99th.

According to Vikings.com, Cousins initially made the list in 2016 with what is now known as the Washington Commanders (No. 85) before jumping to No. 70 in 2017. He was No. 94 in 2018, No. 78 in 2019, and No. 58 in 2020, all three of those seasons coming after his trade to Minnesota.

Cousins is coming off a campaign where he threw for 4,221 yards, 33 touchdowns, and 7 interceptions while completing 66.3 percent of his passes. The Vikings finished 8-9 and in 2nd place in the NFC North.

The top 100 list features a number of B1G players every year, and it will be interesting to see what other former conference players end up making the cut going into the 2022 season.
