Kirk Cousins was sporting unusual attire for his Wednesday media availability.

The former Michigan State QB wore an Ohio State hoodie, days after his Spartans lost to OSU, the alma mater of Atlanta Falcons teammate Liam McCullough.

Cousins played at Michigan State from 2007-11. During that time, MSU and OSU played 3 times. The Buckeyes took the first 2 meetings in 2007 (24-17) and 2008 (45-7). In his final season with the Spartans, Cousins helped Michigan State to a 10-7 win over Ohio State.

Cousins has been playing professionally since 2012, and the Buckeyes have dominated the series with MSU. Saturday’s win extends the Buckeyes winning streak to 9 straight over the Spartans. Since Cousins’ departure, Michigan State’s only wins over Ohio State have come in the 2013 Big Ten Championship Game (34-24) and 2015 regular season (17-14).

These days, Cousins and McCullough share the goal of trying to get a winning streak going for the Falcons. Atlanta is 2-2 through Week 4, having alternated wins and losses. The Falcons got a rivalry win in Week 4, knocking off the New Orleans Saints 26-24.

The Falcons will look to get above .500 on Thursday when Atlanta hosts the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
