Kirk Cousins was on fire during the Minnesota Vikings opening drive on Sunday. The Vikings are facing the New York Giants in the Wild Card round of the NFL playoffs.

Minnesota ended the 12-play, 75-yard drive with a touchdown after taking 6:37 off the clock in the first quarter. Cousins capped off the drive by scoring on a QB sneak. Cousins did not miss a pass either and went 7-for-7 through the air.

All Cousins had to do was take the snap under center and let his offensive linemen go to work. Things are looking good for the Vikings so far.

The Vikings finished the regular season with a 13-4 record, but did not claim the top seed in the NFC and had to start their playoff run in the Wild Card. The top team in the NFC is the Philadelphia Eagles, who have a first-round bye.

The Giants (9-7-1) finished third in the NFC East, just ahead of the Washington Commanders. Their division had a total of three teams make the playoffs.
