When Jack Conklin was drafted by the Tennessee Titans, he and Taylor Lewan went from former rivals to new teammates.

But that doesn’t mean they got rid of their college roots.

That much was evident at the start of training camp. Conklin, the Michigan State All-American, had one of his Spartan jerseys hanging in his locker.

Lewan, a former Michigan All-American, didn’t approve:

@jack_conklin78 time to stop living in the past jack.. Time to grow up bud #GOBLUE #NoBadDays #Fine

Jokes aside, both figure to be the starting tackles on Day 1 for a young Titans team.

Lewan has lived up to his first-round billing so far. He and Conklin figure to form a formidable future duo to block for former Heisman Trophy winners Marcus Mariota and Derrick Henry.

Hopefully Henry didn’t have any MSU-related comments to share with Conklin.
