Life after football: Michigan State's Josh Butler has awesome career goal when he's done on the field
Michigan State cornerback Josh Butler has gained a lot of popularity over the last season. Not only is he an excellent B1G defensive back, but his dogs Roxy and Remi made headlines when they accompanied Butler onto the field at Spartan Stadium on Senior Day this year.
Butler, who lost both of his parents while at school at Michigan State, has an extremely tight bond with his dogs. So much so, that he’s created several YouTube videos featuring he and his canine companions.
Now that his time at Michigan State is done, he’s hoping to turn his love into television and movies into a career. In an interview with WILX TV, Butler talked about his career goals after football. He really wants to land a gig out in Hollywood.

That’s an awesome goal for the former Spartan, and one he’s already gotten some experience with, at least in some capacity.
Butler finished his Michigan State career this season, posting 25 tackles, five pass break-ups and 1.5 tackles for loss. For his career, Butler tallied 54 stops and broke up 11 passes.
Butler still has a chance to play in the NFL and could carve out a role on a roster at the professional level. Regardless of what happens on the field, the former Michigan State cornerback has plans for when his football career comes to an end.
