Malik Hall revealed that he removed himself from Friday’s win over Buffalo after he had a minor foot injury.

Hall sustained a minor tweak to his foot in the 2nd half of the game. After the game, Hall said he felt fine following the minor injury.

Before he exited the game, Hall recorded 11 points in 12 minutes. Hall made 75% of his shots and he nailed both 3-point attempts in the game. Even with his injury, he still found a way to contribute to his team’s 21-point win,

Friday night’s game was Hall’s 1st game since the Villanova contest on Nov. 18 as he missed over 1 month with a foot injury. Hall’s foot injury has limited him to 5 games this season. He recorded double-digit points in 4 of the 5 games he appeared in.

His best game of the season came against Kentucky when he scored 20 points on Nov. 15. Hall is hoping to become a major contributor to the Spartans as he returns to his role. Last night’s game was Michigan State’s final non-conference game of the season and Hall will have 4 days to recover for Michigan State’s next game.

The Spartans remaining opponents will all be in conference from here on out as Michigan State takes on Nebraska next on Jan. 3 at 7 p.m. ET.
