Mark Dantonio updates injury status of TE Matt Dotson, CB Josiah Scott status ahead of Michigan matchup
Michigan State received both good and bad news on the injury front Tuesday. Spartans head coach Mark Dantonio said tight end Matt Dotson has a torn Achilles and will miss the remainder of the season, but he also expects cornerback Josiah Scott to play this Saturday against Michigan.

Scott and Dotson both left this past Saturday’s game against Illinois with injuries. Dotson exited in the first quarter and returned to the sideline during the second half with a boot on his right leg and crutches. Scott departed in the third quarter.
Dotson is fourth on the team with 16 receptions, 151 receiving yards and one receiving touchdown this season. The junior has 32 catches, 329 yards and two touchdowns in his career.
Scott, who is also a junior, leads Michigan State with two interceptions this season. He also has 46 total tackles, 33 solos and four pass breakups.
The Spartans will visit Ann Arbor to face Michigan at 12 pm ET on Saturday.
