Mel Tucker continues campaign to send Kenneth Walker to Heisman ceremony
Michigan State head coach Mel Tucker is all in on the Kenneth Walker III for Heisman campaign.
Tucker continued to show support for his star running back after he quote-tweeted MSU Football’s Twitter account.
Watch the tape and you will see that K9 is the best at what he does! Help K9 get to New York 👊🏾 #K9ForHeisman @Kenneth_Walker9 https://t.co/UcfJKb2Jcl

It truly was a remarkable regular season for Walker.
He finished with 1,636 yards with 16 touchdowns on 263 carries and also had 100 rushing yards or more in 8 of the Spartans’ 12 games.
One of his best games came against rival Michigan on Oct. 30. He was all of MSU’s offense that day as he finished with 197 yards and 5 touchdowns on 23 carries. He also averaged 8.6 yards per carry as the Wolverines had no answer for him.
Walker’s lone 200-yard game came during opening week (Sept. 3) against Northwestern. The Spartans won 38-21, but that was mainly due to Walker having 264 yards and 4 touchdowns on 23 carries.
MSU finished this regular season 10-2, which is the best record the school has had since 2017 (10-3).
The Heisman Trophy finalists will officially be announced on Dec. 6.
