Michigan State head coach Mel Tucker doesn’t seem to know what a trap game is.

Tucker spoke about this topic during his Monday presser as some people reached out to him to talk about this Saturday’s matchup against Purdue being a “trap game.” He was having none of it.

Now Tucker could be telling the truth with this, but he’s had to know what a trap game is at some point in his career. He’s likely not saying anything due to how Purdue has played this season.

The Boilermakers are coming off a 28-23 win against the Cornhuskers on Saturday and are always ready to spoil the show. They just took down the Hawkeyes a couple of weeks ago and spoiled their perfect season.

That one was on the road but this time, the game will be in West Lafayette where the Purdue fanbase will be rocking.

Will MSU play down to the competition or will it look to continue to send a message to the conference that it has the best team? We’ll find out this Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET.
