Spartans head coach Mel Tucker got to be in some photos with numerous 2020 Michigan State graduates after they came back to campus for their official graduation.

A lot of college graduations for 2020 had to be either moved online or canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. That said, not many schools around the country did what MSU did and brought back the entire class of 2020 for an official graduation.

Tucker was able to meet some of these graduates outside the Spartans football facility.

Tucker has more than just this reason to be smiling as his Spartans are off to an outstanding start this season. They’ve won their first 3 games, with the last one being against then-ranked No. 24 Miami.

They went down to Florida and beat them 38-17 as quarterback Payton Thorne finished with 261 yards passing with 4 touchdowns. The win also got Tucker’s Spartans to No. 20 in this week’s AP Poll going into their Week 4 matchup against Nebraska.
