Michigan State head coach Mel Tucker is not panicking or ready to fire any of his coaches as he has confidence the Spartans will flip the season around after being dominated in Week 4 34-7 at home.

Michigan State suffered its second consecutive loss of the 2022 season after losing to Washington on the road 39-28 in Week 3. The Spartans were dominated on both sides of the ball in both games, as turnovers were also a key issue.

Last season, Michigan State was a legitimate College Football Playoff contender as the Spartans were undefeated going into the month of November. No. 8 Michigan State had a key win over No. 6 Michigan 37-33 on October 30 before losing at Purdue 40-29 the following week.

Tucker was given a 10-year, $95 million contract extension last season after the quick success he had at Michigan State. Now, he’s got to prove he can build the program despite current struggles.
