A former Michigan State running back has signed a deal with the Miami Dolphins.

On Monday, the Dolphins tweeted that they had reached an agreement with running back Jeremy Langford, an ex-Spartan and former fourth round pick.

No details on the contract were immediately available.

Langford has appeared in 28 games in his professional career, totaling 737 yards and 10 touchdowns while averaging 3.5 yards per carry. All of his carries came as a member of the Chicago Bears from 2015 through 2016.

In 2017, Langford had stops with the New York Jets and Baltimore Ravens.

While at Michigan State, Langford was one of the more dominant running backs in the B1G, rushing for 1,422 yards and 18 touchdowns in 2013, followed up by a 1,522-yard, 22-touchdown season in 2014.
