Crazy Michigan-Michigan State finish earns 2015 Play of the Year
It depends on perspective.
For Michigan State fans, it was one of the greatest moments in program history. For Michigan fans, it was one of the most devastating moments in program history.
Jalen Watts-Jackson’s scoop-and-score will forever be remembered as one of the craziest finishes in the history of college football. Forever Michigan and Michigan State fans will have different memories of that classic play.

Well, they combined to earn the 2015 College Football Play of the Year.
The award was presented to none other than the famous Michigan “surrender cobra” himself at the ESPN Home Depot College Football Awards Show on Thursday night in Atlanta.

Watts-Jackson actually couldn’t be in Atlanta for the acceptance of the award, because as you’ll recall, he broke his hip on the play and has been rehabbing ever since.
Even though Watts-Jackson hasn’t been on the field for the Spartans storybook 2015 run to end the season, it’s safe to say he did his part to get them to where they are right now.
