Heads continue to roll at Michigan State following the wake of the Larry Nassar scandal.

MSU AD Mark Hollis retired during a press conference Friday. Hollis had been the school’s AD since 2008. Hollis won the 2012 AD of the Year award for the work he did in East Lansing.

The school’s handling of former employee Nassar has come into serious question as the former USA Gymnastics doctor was sentenced to 40 to 175 years after being found guilty of sexually abusing over 150 athletes, many of which were underage girls.

According to a recent survey done by Bruce Feldman of Sports Illustrated, Hollis was a well-respected AD around the county. He was ranked second in the nation among his peers for the work he did at Michigan State. Obviously, that was before the actions of Nassar were public knowledge.
