Michigan State adds commitment from 2022 Edge rusher out of Indiana
Michigan State has landed a commitment from an Indiana edge rusher for its Class of 2022. 3-star prospect James Schott announced on Twitter that he’s committing to the program.

The 6-foot-4, 215-pound Schott is regarded by the 247Sports Composite as the No. 24 player in Indiana.
Newly minted in the College Football Playoff Rankings, Michigan State will look to remain undefeated when the Spartans travel to face B1G West opponent Purdue on Nov. 6.
Michigan State is ranked No. 3 in the first edition of the CFP rankings. The Spartans are 8-0 and in first place in the B1G East after most recently edging in-state rival Michigan 37-33 on Oct. 30.
Michigan State leads the all-time series 36-28-3 and is on an 8-game winning streak vs. Purdue.
