Michigan State adds commitment from 2023 4-star QB

Michigan State picked up a quarterback commitment in the Class of 2023 Thursday.
Sam Leavitt, a 4-star QB out of West Linn, Oregon, committed to the Spartans over Washington, Washington State and Florida State, representing Michigan State’s first QB commit in the 2023 Class.

Leavitt is considered to be the No. 373 prospect in the 2023 cycle and the No. 23 overall quarterback. He’s also considered to be the No. 1 player from the state of Oregon according to the 247Sports composite rankings.
Michigan State has the No. 27 overall class according to 247Sports and will be looking to bounce back from a disappointing 5-7 season under head coach Mel Tucker.
