Michigan State added a wide receiver for 2021 Wednesday, but he is a player that is also expected to see the court in East Lansing.

Justin Thind with 247 Sports reported on National Signing Day that Keon Coleman, a three-star wide receiver out of Louisiana, committed to the Spartans. Listed at 6-foot-4 and 220 lbs., Coleman has serious size on the outside.

Coleman is rated as the No. 62 receiver nationally and the No. 12 player out of Louisiana for the 2021 cycle. According to his recruitment page on 247 Sports, his primary recruiter was head coach Mel Tucker with Tom Izzo serving as a secondary recruiter.

It will be great to see how Coleman progresses with the Spartans, but it is definitely interesting to see both head coaches chip on with the recruitment of a dual-sport player. Hopefully their work pays off in a big way, both on the gridiron and the hardwood.
