This NSD splash by Mel Tucker & @CoachHawk_5 gives the Spartans an elite WR for their 2021 class.@keoncoleman6 also gives Tom Izzo a legit dual-sport walk-on, one who he helped recruit.

Coleman is rated as the No. 62 receiver nationally and the No. 12 player out of Louisiana for the 2021 cycle. According to his recruitment page on 247 Sports, his primary recruiter was head coach Mel Tucker with Tom Izzo serving as a secondary recruiter.
It will be great to see how Coleman progresses with the Spartans, but it is definitely interesting to see both head coaches chip on with the recruitment of a dual-sport player. Hopefully their work pays off in a big way, both on the gridiron and the hardwood.
