Brady Pretzlaff is set on playing for Joe Rossi.

Pretzlaff, a linebacker prospect in the 2024 recruiting class, committed to play for the Minnesota Golden Gophers back on Jan. 19, 2023. At that time, Rossi was the Gophers’ defensive coordinator. Rossi has left Minnesota to be part of Jonathan Smith’s Michigan State staff, and Pretzlaff is joining him in East Lansing.

Pretzlaff, who decommitted from Minnesota a week ago, announced his commitment to the Spartans during a Wednesday ceremony.

A standout at Gaylord (Michigan), Pretzlaff is listed as measuring 6-3, 230 pounds. On the 247Sports Composite, Pretzlaff is rated 3-stars, the No. 14 player in the state of Michigan, No. 60 linebacker and No. 676 prospect overall in the Class of 2024.

Pretzlaff joins an MSU class that Smith and his staff have been working hard to quickly assemble. Sixteen other high school prospects have already signed with Michigan State and the Spartans have added 5 players via the transfer portal.
