The Michigan State Spartans have announced their captains ahead of their Week 5 matchup with Maryland.

That list includes junior wide receiver Tre Mosley for the offense, senior linebacker Jacoby Windmon for the defense and senior punter Bryce Baringer for special teams.

Mosley currently sits at second on the team in receiving yards with 169 and is tied for first on the team in receiving touchdowns with 3.

Windmon leads the team along with the country with 5.5 sacks and 5 forced fumbles in his first year with the team after transferring from UNLV.

Baringer has had one of the strongest legs in college football this year with 53 yards per punt which ranks No. 3 in the NCAA, including a 70-yarder in last weeks win over Western Michigan.

Michigan State is looking to bounce back from a 2-game losing streak with losses to Washington and Minnesota after ranking as high as No. 11.

The Spartans hope to get their first B1G win against the Terps and gain some momentum with No. 3 Ohio State and No. 4 Michigan looming on the schedule.
