Mel Tucker and Michigan State Vice President Alan Haller released a statement after the B1G handed out punishments to both Michigan and Michigan State for events that took place on Oct. 29. They announced that some players are going to be reinstated.

All the Spartans who were involved in the fight are now officially reinstated, with the exception of Khary Crump. This includes Itayvion Brown, Angelo Grose, Justin White, Jacoby Windmon, Brandon Wright, and Zion Young.

Malcolm Jones served his suspension as well and has already been reinstated. Crump was suspended by the B1G for the first 8 games of the 2023 season.

Here’s what the statement was from Tucker and Haller:

“We accept the findings from Big Ten Conference and are ready to move forward as a football program. We are committed to supporting our student-athletes and will continue to do so throughout this process. Itayvion Brown, Angelo Grose, Justin White, Jacoby Windmon, Brandon Wright, and Zion Young will be immediately reinstated to the program.”

We’ll see if any more is said by either Tucker or Haller on the B1G’s decision.
