There’s been an update for Tuesday’s B1G showdown between Michigan State and No. 7 Iowa.

Sunday afternoon, Michigan State announced that Tuesday’s game against Iowa will be held at 7 p.m. ET. The game did not previously have a start time scheduled. The contest between the Spartans and Hawkeyes is a make-up of the postponed contest from Jan. 14.

That game was delayed because of a COVID-19 pause within Michigan State’s basketball program. The Spartans were forced to postpone three games while on a 20-day pause between B1G contests.

FS1 will have coverage of the Michigan State-Iowa game.

Michigan State and Iowa will play twice in an 11-day window. Tuesday’s game is set to be played at Carver-Hawkeye Arena in Iowa City while the rematch will be on Saturday, Feb. 13 at the Breslin Center in East Lansing.

The Spartans are currently 8-5 on the season with a 2-5 mark in B1G play. They are currently in action against Ohio State, and are looking to end a two-game losing streak.

Iowa is 12-4 this year and are 6-3 in league play. The Hawkeyes have dropped their last two games to Indiana and Illinois.
