Michigan State staved off a scare from Nebraska as they intercepted Adrian Martinez, then kicked a field goal to win the game.

Nebraska ended up getting the ball to start overtime but it lasted not even 5 minutes as Martinez threw a pick to Chester Kimbrough and the Spartans almost walked it off with that play.

After that, star running back Kenneth Walker III went 23 yards to the 2-yard line before the Spartans kicked the game-winner on 3rd down.

The Cornhuskers had kept Walker III in check for most of the game up until that big run. He ended up finishing with 61 yards on 19 carries.

With that win, the Spartans get to 4-0 on the season, which is their best start since 2015.

Nebraska falls to 2-3 as they were less than 5 minutes away from pulling off the upset only to have it be ripped away.
