Michigan State beats out Alabama, others to land 2024 center’s commitment

Michigan State basketball has landed a big addition for its 2024 recruiting class. Tom Izzo’s staff beat out Alabama, Virginia Tech, Xavier and others to land a commitment from Jesse McCulloch on Thursday.
The announcement for the center prospect out of Lutheran East in Cleveland, Ohio was streamed live on YouTube.

McCulloch is currently listed at 6-9, 215 pounds. 247Sports rates McCulloch a 4-star prospect in the top-100 overall nationally. On3’s Industry Ranking has McCulloch at 3-stars, the No. 4 Ohio product, No. 17 center and No. 166 overall nationally in the 2024 recruiting class.
