Michigan State and BYU have reportedly reached an agreement on a rescheduled date for a nonconference game that was lost to the 2020 season. MLive.com reported the news after obtaining an amended contract via a Freedom of Information Act request.
The game won’t be played for quite some time.
Per the report, Michigan State and BYU have set a reschedule date for Sept. 11, 2032. The Spartans will make the trip to Provo after seeing the game marked off the schedule last fall as the B1G played a conference-only slate.
The 2020 trip to BYU was set to be the second of a home-and-home series between the two programs. The Cougars defeated the Spartans in 2016 in East Lansing 31-14. It was the only time the two teams have played on the field.
Michigan State ended the 2020 season with a 2-5 record while BYU was 11-1.
