Michigan State’s secondary is seeing some turnover after the end of the regular season with a number of defensive backs electing for the transfer portal.

Shortly after the season finale, the Spartans saw Michael Dowell and Emmanuel Flowers enter the transfer portal. Flowers and Dowell were members of the 2017 and 2018 recruiting classes, respectively. They will look to finish their careers elsewhere.

On Friday, freshman safety Michael Gravely Jr. also decided to enter the portal:

“I would like to thank Coach Tucker, Coach Barnett, & Coach Tressel for giving me the chance to play for this program and providing me with life tools I can always carry with me,” wrote Gravely on Twitter, “With that being said I will be entering the transfer portal.”

Coming out of high school, Gravely was a 3-star prospect out of Cleveland, Ohio. Other offers included Cincinnati, Buffalo, Akron, and Bowling Green, among others.
