Brown was one of the best cornerbacks in the nation for the Spartans this season. He was tied for the national lead in interceptions with five and he only played in seven games. Brown was also tied for the Big Ten lead as Northwestern defensive back Brandon Joseph also had five in seven games. The other two players with five interceptions nationally appeared in 11+ games.
Brown also had 25 total tackles (19 solo) for the Spartans this season with four passes defended outside of the interceptions. In 2019, he had 23 total tackles (15 solo) with two sacks, an interception, and six passes defended.
We’ll have to see where Brown is picked in the NFL Draft but with this past season, it wouldn’t be surprising to see him picked in the first couple of rounds.
