Xavier Henderson was asked about whether or not he wants to return for another year with Michigan State in a recent interview. It’s not something he’s giving much attention to as the Spartans prepare for the postseason.

For now, he is only focusing on the upcoming Peach Bowl game against Pittsburgh according to Chris Solari of the Detroit Free Press.

In his career in East Lansing, he has 233 total tackles, 9 pass deflections, 1 forced fumble, and 3 interceptions. He appeared in all 12 games in 2021.

Henderson would definitely be a valuable piece on defense if he ends staying for another season.

You can watch Henderson in what may or may not be his final game for the green and white in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl on Thursday.

No. 10 Michigan State (10-2) and No. 12 Pitt (11-2) play at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN.
