“Itayvion Brown was dismissed from the Michigan State football team last month and did not participate in spring practice,” a program spokesman said in a written statement. “Previously, he had been indefinitely suspended from team activities beginning in late February.”

Brown spent the past two seasons as a part of Michigan State’s program since beginning his college career at Minnesota. He had 5 total tackles during his time with the Spartans.

Last season, Brown was among the group of Michigan State players that initially faced charges stemming from the tunnel incident following a loss to Michigan.
