Michigan State earns commitment from 3-star linebacker
Michigan State has earned another commitment for their 2021 class and this time, they got a three-star linebacker from Alabama.
Carson Casteel announced his commitment to the Spartans through his Twitter account here:

Per 247Sports, his composite ranking is 0.8204 and he’s the 1,870th ranked player in the country for 2021. He’s the 86th ranked inside linebacker for the country but just the 82nd ranked player in the state of Alabama.
His other offers on the site include Troy, Army, Georgia State, and Appalachian State.
Even though he’s not a highly rated commit, he still has a chance of making a big difference to Michigan State’s defense when he comes into the fold.
