Michigan State no longer has a commitment from one of the QBs in the 2023 class. Bo Edmundson announced via his social media that he is no longer committed to the program.

Edmundson is a 3-star QB per the 247Sports Composite. Penn State, Purdue, and Wisconsin have also shown interest and have offered him. Edmundson comes in at 6-foot-3, 195 pounds.

Here’s what Edmundson had to say to Michigan State fans:

“After much thought and many conversations with my family and my coaches at Lake Travis, I have decided to decommit from Michigan State University and reopen my recruiting,” said Edmundson. “I want to thank Coach Tucker and Coach Johnson for all the time they spent with me and my family this past year.”

Edmundson was the only QB committed to Michigan State from the 2023 class. The Spartans now have 11 total commits, with eight 4-star commits and three 3-star commits.

Michigan State currently has the 8th-best class in the 2023 cycle among B1G schools.
