Michigan State freshman TE opts for transfer portal
The transfer portal and NIL deals this off-season have made college football at times seem like the wild wild west. All 14 B1G schools have felt the ebbs and flows of the portal and the new age of college football.
Michigan State is the latest victim of the portal. Freshman TE Kameron Allen has entered the transfer portal after just 1 season with the program.
Allen did not play for the Spartans in 2021. Allen was a 3-star recruit and the No. 67 TE in the Class of 2021 according to 247sports Composite Rankings.

Head coach Mel Tucker has done a masterful job in turning around the Spartans in just 2 seasons. Michigan State went 10-2 and 7-2 in the B1G this season.
The Spartans finished No. 10 in the final College Football Playoff rankings. They are in a New Year’s Six Bowl for the first time in 6 years. The last time was when they played Alabama in the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic CFP Semifinal game and lost 38-0.
Michigan State takes on No. 12 Pitt in the Chic-Fil-A Peach Bowl on Dec. 30 at 7:00 ET on ESPN.
