Michigan State gets commitment from TE out of IMG Academy
Michigan State’s Independence Day celebration was a little sweeter after adding a talented tight end to its 2021 recruiting class.
On Saturday, the Spartans landed a verbal commitment from 6-foot-5, 230-pound tight end Jake Renda. He will be attending IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida but is a native of Trenton, New Jersey. Renda made his announcement with a post on Twitter.
“After careful consideration over the last few weeks, I am excited to announce that I am committed to Michigan State University,” Renda wrote. “Thank you to Coach Tucker, Coach Gilmore, and entire MSU staff.”
