Michigan State gets shoutout from Magic Johnson for 'bounce-back' victory over Maryland
One week after suffering a tough 40-29 road loss to Purdue, No. 7 Michigan State needed a big bounce back win to get back to the College Football Playoff picture. On Saturday, Michigan State rebounded at home with a 40-21 victory against Maryland.

On Saturday, Michigan State outscored Maryland 27-14 in the first half. They had huge offensive performances from their star players in quarterback Payton Thorne, running back Kenneth Walker III, and wide receiver Jayden Reed.
Michigan State will have a huge matchup in Week 12 on the road against No. 4 Ohio State for a key battle for the B1G East and the race for the College Football Playoff.
