Michigan State WR to return vs. Ohio State after 2-game absence
Michigan State wide receiver Jaron Glover will be back in action this weekend against No. 3 Ohio State after a 2-game absence.
That’s according to ESPN’s Pete Thamel, who reported that the Sarasota, Florida native will play against the undefeated Buckeyes.
It’s unclear what kind of injury Glover had, but he sat out the Spartans’ win over Prairie View A&M and their narrow loss last week at Boston College. Before being sidelined, Glover played a big role in Michigan State’s Week 2 win at Maryland, where the redshirt sophomore had 98 yards of total offense and a touchdown on 7 touches.

Glover had 14 catches last season for 261 yards. He’s had an increased role in the games he’s appeared in this season, as he’s more than halfway to matching his touches from a year ago.
The 6-foot-1 wideout was a 3-star prospect in high school and signed with the Spartans over offers from Tennessee, Syracuse, West Virginia, and Wake Forest, among others.
Ohio State is the first ranked opponent the 3-1 Spartans have faced this season. That game is scheduled to kick off at 7 p.m. ET on Saturday, with coverage on Peacock. The Buckeyes are a 24-point favorite at ESPN Bet.
