Michigan State added to its 2023 recruiting class with a 4-star running back commitment Monday.

Kedrick Reescano, out of New Caney (Texas), tweeted a commitment announcement to the Spartans.

Reescano is listed at 5-11, 190 pounds and rated 4-stars, the No. 13 running back, No. 39 Lone Star State product and No. 219 prospect overall nationally in the class of 2023 on the 247Sports Composite. According to his recruiting profile, Reescano also had scholarship offers from Houston, Kansas, Oklahoma State, SMU, Syracuse, TCU, Tulsa and UTSA. He called it a “difficult decision” in the note announcing his pledge to MSU.

Reescano’s 247Sports profile also notes he competes in track and field and was a Texas District 8-5A D-I first-team selection as a sophomore. His football highlights can be viewed below, via Hudl:

The 2022 recruiting cycle isn’t over, but Mel Tucker’s program now has 2 players pledged for 2023. Brennan Parachek, a 4-star tight end, committed in September.
