The transfer portal strikes again during this early signing period. Michigan State has now added a former Florida Gator edge rusher. Khris Bogle entered the transfer portal on Dec. 1, 2021, and has now found his new home.

The junior announced that he would joining Michigan State from his Twitter account on Wednesday afternoon.

Bogle was originally a 4-star recruit from Cardinal Gibbons High School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He was the 3rd-best WDE, the 10th-ranked player from Florida, and the 71st-ranked player nationally when he committed to the Gators in May of 2019, per the 247Sports Composite.

Bogle spent his entire career in Gainesville up until he decided to transfer. He appeared in 35 games for the Gators. He had 26 solo tackles, 43 assisted tackles, 69 total tackles, 1 forced fumble, and 8 sacks.

During the 2021 season, he played in 10 games for Florida and started in 3 of them. His stats in 2021 were 22 total tackles, 9 solo tackles, and 1.5 sacks.

Bogel will have 2 years of eligibility with the Spartans. We’ll see if a change of scenery will be all he needs.
