Michigan State has landed a transfer linebacker from the transfer portal on Thursday.
Mississippi State’s Aaron Brule has officially announced his commitment to the Spartans via Twitter.
Blood in my eyes and my palms sweaty.

This is a big-time get for Mel Tucker as Brule has been a staple on the Bulldogs defense for the last four years. He finished with 142 total tackles, 18 tackles-for-losses, and 8 sacks during his time with the program.
Brule’s best individual season came in 2020 when he had 76 total tackles (30 solo) along with 4 sacks, 1 fumble recovery, and 3 passes defended.
He helped Mississippi State to a 7-5 season this year and finished with 53 total tackles (23 solo) along with 3 sacks.
Before originally committing to Mississippi State, Brule was a 3-star prospect and the No. 17 player in his home state (Louisiana), per 247Sports Composite.
He was also the No. 465 player nationally, regardless of position.
