Michigan State lands pledge from No. 1 player out of Rhode Island

The No. 1 player out of Rhode Island committed to play for Michigan State Tuesday evening.
Justin Denson is the player in question, a 6-2 rising senior at La Salle HS in Providence, Rhode Island. He’s rated as a 3-star safety by 247Sports.
Denson chose Michigan State over the likes of Florida, Oklahoma, Alabama, Tennessee, Penn State, Miami and Notre Dame, to name a few.

Denson is Michigan State’s 11th commitment of the 2024 cycle, as well as the Spartans’ 4th secondary addition.
He’s considered to be the No. 691 overall prospect in the Class of 2024, as well as the No. 57 CB and No. 1 player out of RI.
