Michigan State got some good news Tuesday afternoon regarding their 2023 recruiting class.

Brennan Parachek, out of Dexter, MI, announced that he is committing to the Spartans on Tuesday.

Parachek is a 3-star 6-foot-6, 235-pound TE; he is the No.21 TE in the country and the No.7 TE in Michigan according to 247sports Composite Rankings.

He is the Spartans’ first commit in the class of 2023.

The Spartans’ upcoming class ranks No.20 in the nation and No.5 in the B1G for the 2022 commits.

The Spartans are off to a great start as they are 4-0 on the season with wins over Northwestern and Miami. Last week they survived a scare from upset-minded Nebraska, winning 23-20 in OT.

They are No.17 in the AP Top-25 poll.

Michigan State faces a lot more tests upcoming this season, they still play  vs. No.14 Michigan, at No.11 Ohio State and vs. No.4 Penn State.

In only year 2 it looks like head coach Mel Tucker has this Spartans’ team primed to compete in the B1G.

Michigan State plays their final non-conference game this weekend against Western Kentucky at 7:30 ET on BTN.
