Earlier this week, Michigan State WR Hunter Rison announced he was transferring from the program, and now he has some company.

Fellow WR Trishton Jackson will also leave the Spartans, as he announced on Friday night.

As you can see in the tweet below, Jackson thanked his coaches and teammates before announcing his transfer plans:

Jackson recorded 12 catches for 143 yards this season, but ultimately lost his starting spot to freshman Cody White.

Where he ends up next remains to be seen, but the Spartans’ receiving corps has lost a lot of depth this week. It’ll be interesting to see how coach Mark Dantonio addresses that problem.
